Direct flights from Incheon Int'l Airport (ICN) to Gwangju Airport (KWJ) are currently not available.
If your itinerary permits, arriving in Korea via Gimpo (GMP) or Jeju (CJU) International Airport is recommended, as you can take a direct domestic flight to Gwangju Airport (KWJ).

Although Muan International Airport (MWX) is closest to Gwangju, please be advised that its flight operations are currently suspended due to ongoing facility maintenance. We regret any inconvenience this may cause to your travel planning. However, South Korea features a highly integrated and convenient national transportation system. You can easily reach Gwangju via various comfortable routes, including direct express buses and high-speed trains (KTX) from other major international gateways such as Incheon (ICN), Gimpo (GMP), or Jeju (CJU).

You can take a direct express bus from Incheon Int'l Airport to Gwangju Bus Terminal (U-Square). The journey takes approximately 3 hr 30 min. Buses are available for boarding at both Terminal 1 (T1) and Terminal 2 (T2). Note: Additional express bus runs will be scheduled during the conference period to accommodate international attendees.

For attendees arriving via Incheon Int'l Airport (ICN), Option 1 via Gwangmyeong Station is the fastest route to Gwangju-Songjeong Station. If you plan to visit or stay in Seoul before heading to Gwangju, we recommend Option 2 (via Seoul Station) or Option 3 (via Yongsan Station).
